Privacy Policy

Supervizo ("we", "our", "us") provides a Chrome browser extension and web application for psychotherapists that captures audio from video calls for real-time transcription and analysis of therapy sessions.

1. Data We Collect

Audio: Captured from the browser tab during active therapy sessions only. Audio is transmitted to our secure server (supervizo.ru) via encrypted WebSocket (WSS) for real-time processing. Audio streams are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently on our servers.

Session Data: Transcriptions, observations, and generated documents (client materials, supervisory reports) are stored in your account and accessible only to you.

Authentication: We read the access_token cookie from supervizo.ru to authenticate your session. We store your email address and name for account management.

Usage Data: Session duration, feature usage events (anonymous analytics) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Data

• Audio is processed in real-time for transcription and therapeutic analysis
• Generated documents (transcripts, reports) are stored in your account
• Audio streams are NOT stored permanently on our servers
• We do NOT sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties
• We do NOT use your data for advertising purposes
• We do NOT train AI models on your session data

3. Data Storage and Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/WSS (TLS encryption)
• Server located in EU (Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg, Germany)
• Data is stored and processed in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ on Personal Data
• Database backups are encrypted and retained for 7 days
• You can export or delete all your data at any time from your profile settings

4. Browser Extension Permissions

The Supervizo Chrome extension requires the following permissions:

• tabCapture: To capture audio from the video call tab (Zoom, Google Meet, Telemost) for transcription
• activeTab: To detect the video conferencing platform on the current tab
• sidePanel: To display real-time session observations alongside the video call
• storage: To save user preferences (selected client, settings)
• offscreen: To process audio via AudioContext (required by Manifest V3)
• cookies: To read the authentication token from supervizo.ru
• desktopCapture: Fallback audio capture when tabCapture is unavailable
• scripting: To detect video conferencing platform via content script

5. User Control and Rights

• The extension only captures audio when you explicitly start a session
• You can stop recording at any time during a session
• You can export all your data (ZIP archive) from your profile
• You can delete all session data while keeping your account
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated data
• You can uninstall the extension at any time

6. Data Retention

Session data (transcriptions, documents, analytics) is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. Backups containing your data are automatically purged within 7 days of deletion.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to process your data:

• Deepgram (deepgram.com) — speech-to-text transcription
• Anthropic (anthropic.com) — AI analysis (Claude models)
• YooKassa (yookassa.ru) — payment processing

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We transmit only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

8. Children's Privacy

Supervizo is a professional tool for licensed therapists and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL. Your continued use of Supervizo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
